Please excuse the radio silence....

Not that anybody is DYING for more updates from me but just in case you are here is a little bit of how my life has been the last few weeks/months...

- May 28th: House in Columbia goes on the market
- May 29th: Get offer on my house in Greenville (which was not even on the market)
- June 1 - June 27th: Handle inspections, house showings and a few vacations scattered in.
- June 25: Put an offer in on a new (to us) house that will need lots of renovations
- June 28th: Close on Greenville house
- July 3-6: Go to DC to visit my brother
- July 6th afternoon: get a call from pet sitter saying Brinkley was in the hospital with a heat stroke
- July 6th evening: switch flights and fly into Greenville at midnight, go visit Brinkley then go to my parents to sleep.
- July 7th: Wait for Brinkley to be released from the hospital.
- July 12-14: A short vacation to Edisto
- July 17: Got an offer on our Columbia house and met with our contractor about renovations to new house.
- July 30: Close on new (to us) house in Columbia
- August 9: (Hopefully) Close on Columbia house
... oh yeah and we have to move out of house house in 3 weeks and find a place to live until the renovations are done at the new (to us) house.

So needless to say things have been a bit ridiculous for us and don't seem to be slowing down. But, as we start the renovations on the new house I will be back with LOTS to share!!

  1. Wow, you guys have been really busy. Good luck with closing on the house in a few weeks and closing on the new house too! At least the market is good and things are selling and you can buy right now! We are really glad we bought when we did too.

    1. Yes, it's been a bit crazy but we know these are all good "problems" to have and are lucky to have been able to get off the real estate we have and find a great house! Hope yall are enjoying your new place and are getting settled!
